Fall sports are in full swing at RCB. Soccer, football, and volleyball players, along with golfers, cross county runners, and cheerleaders are all working hard.

The Football Team, coached by Josh Gorrell, has 36 players on its roster. Of that 36, 14 are seniors who take turns being team caption. The remainder of the team consists of 10 juniors, 4 sophomores, and 8 freshmen. At this point in the season, they have 2 wins over Elkins and Greenbrier East and 2 losses to Keyser and cross-country rival Bridgeport. Assisting Coach Gorrell are RCB alumni Justin Noble and Teague Wagner, Steve Hastings, Austin Scott, and Sam Alvaro.

The Boys' and Girls' Soccer teams are now halfway through their seasons. The girls, coached by Tina Smith, have 18 on their roster and are led by Senior Captains Bella Rock and Mikayla Genin. Additionally, they are comprised of 4 seniors, 3 juniors, 5 sophomores, and 6 freshmen. Their current record is 4-4-1. Coaching the boys' team is Chris Meighen. With a roster of 21, they are led by Captains Alex Bovino and Cameron Clark. Their current record is 3-2-2.

The Volleyball Team has a new coach this year, Andrea Sturm. She guides the rostered 17 athletes comprised of 4 seniors, 1 junior, 8 sophomores, and 4 freshmen. Their record is currently 5-5.

The Golf Team has been on the road, traveling to such places as Stonewall Resort and Mingo Bottom. This 6-member team is coached by Scott Haskell. It is comprised of 2 seniors, 1 junior, and 3 sophomores.

The Boys' and Girls' Cross-Country Teams are coached by veteran coach Chad Feathers. While rostered separately, the two teams practice together and consist of 14 members: 5 seniors, 3 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 4 freshmen.

Year-round athletes, the Cheer Team, is coached by Drew Banko assisted by Lauren Johnson and Jennifer Banko. Together, they guide the 20-member squad, 1 senior, 3 juniors, 9 sophomores, and 4 freshmen through both games and competitions throughout the seasons.

These teams work diligently to represent RCB and appreciate your support!!
