The administration of Robert C. Byrd High School recently announced its Students of the Month for January and February.
Student of the Month for January, Nathaniel Junkins is the son of Norman and Lillie Junkins of Clarksburg. Throughout high school, he has been an active member of the Mayor’s Youth Council, CCA Youth, and the basketball, football and, baseball teams. Nathaniel plans to attend college in the fall; his major is undecided.
January Student of the Month, Delaney Elizabeth Wolfe is the daughter of Richard and
Heather Wolfe of Clarksburg. Throughout high school, Delaney has been very involved. She is president of Thespian Troupe 4846, a member of the Show Choir, a member of the Eagle Cabinet, Student Body Secretary, and a member of the National Honor Society. Delaney plans to attend West Virginia University to earn a degree in musical theater.
Student of the Month for February, Lleyton Wolfe is the son of Mike and Melody Wolfe of Lumberport. While in high school, Lleyton has been a member of the Varsity
Basketball Team, the Golf Team, the Student Council, and is an anchor for the Byrd’s Eye View student television program. Lleyton plans to attend college to pursue a degree in architectural engineering.
Student of the Month Haley Knight is the daughter of Lori and Doug Knight of Clarksburg.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, Eagle Cabinet, and the theater program. Haley plans to attend West Virginia University to pursue a degree in either fashion merchandising or forensic chemistry.
