With the year already starting to come to a close, scheduling for the next year is around the corner and students will have to decide what they might want to take in the next year. Students were given a scheduling paper in which they will get to plan out an "ideal schedule." Depending on what grade and what classes one may want to take, the availability may be limited since the system is tiered by grade level (upcoming seniors being 1st and so on). The "ideal schedule" allows a student to make a schedule that would be good for them and also helps guide the administrators when scheduling. Students were given their transcript in which they will use to guide themselves to pick classes that they would need to graduate. To graduate students need 26 specific credits: 4 credits in math (preferably one every year), 4 English, 3 Science, 4 History, 1 Fine Art, 1 Health (students have the option of online health), 1 PE (or an appropriate substitute), 4 Concentration (AP, CTE, Foreign Language, etc.) and 4 electives (TV, Journalism, Food & Nutrition, Drivers Ed, etc.). Creating a required amount of classes and credits will help prepare the students for after high school.
