The RCB Lady Eagles' Basketball Team is coached by Jon Griffin and Robert Shields. Coach Griffin has been guiding the team for 2 years, while this is Coach Shields' first season at Byrd. The team consists of 13 players including freshman Avery Childers who earned 31 points in a recent game. Avery said, "We've bonded really well since the season started and I think that's starting to help us on the court." Currently, they are 1-5 but Coach Griffin says, "We will get better as the season goes. We've been practicing together for 2 months and will continue to improve." Good luck ladies!
