Select business-minded students from around the county, including some of our own, had the opportunity to work together to provide solutions to the problems of local businesses, specifically Mourning Glory Art, Infinity Studios and the Clarksburg History Museum, and to aid in enhancing their social media presence, according to Business Teacher Dr. Beckett.
Along with Future Business Leaders of America members Jaden Riley and Pauline Clark, Senior Majid Maya felt the experience gave him an opportunity to see how real businesses operate and work to solve problems. "It’s a good experience to have, wanting to be a business owner myself,” he said. “This simulates what it would be like to solve problems within a business, and puts you in a place where you have to collaborate with others to come to a conclusion.”
The symposium, held at the Charles Point location of FSU, was sponsored by BB&T Bank and Fairmont State University. Great job, FBLA!
