Exemplary Eagles!

Each year the faculty and members of the senior class work together to select the two seniors who best epitomize the highest caliber of student and represent all that is good at Robert C. Byrd High School.

The process begins with a ballot to faculty and staff listing the names of all the seniors holding a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above. From this group, the top 10 vote-getters were placed on a second ballot for senior voting. The criteria for selection included character, student involvement, and community service. The 10 students included Robert Arnold, Gabriel Howe, Tanner Kennedy, Caden Lucas, and Eli Williams as well as Sophie Banko, Brooke Leaseburg, Gabrielle Madia, Camille Sutton, and Abby Wetzel.

Selected from the Class of 2019 as Mr. and Miss Eagle are Elijah Williams and Camille Sutton. Eli is the son of Ron and Lisa Williams of Clarksburg, and Camille is the daughter of Ron and Sandy Sutton of Nutter Fort. Congratulations!!
