RCB athletes recently received two major honors from the WVSSAC!
Senior Eli Williams was named The WVSSAC Community Service Award Winner for the state and will be recognized at the Super Six in Wheeling. Eli is the son of Ron and Lisa Williams of Clarksburg.
The Girls' Soccer Team was named The WVSSAC Academic Team GPA Winner for the Entire State with the overall GPA of 3.948 and Average Attendance of 2 days missed per year for the entire team. Congratulations!
October 18 is an important day in the world of sports at RCB. Round #2 of Sectional Soccer continues today as the boys face off at 6 p.m. and the girls at 8 p.m. Cross Country Regional competitions are slated at Doddridge Co. at 4:30 p.m.
Yesterday, at the Region II Cross County Championship Meet, Adelle Thrush finished 8th in the girls' race and Sam Starkey finished 3rd in the boy's race. Both will participate in their 3rd Cross Country State Meet next Saturday. Congratulations to Sam and Adelle!!
