Boy of the Month for November was Gino Messenger, the son of Kristin Messenger of Clarksburg.
Throughout high school Gino has been a member of the Track Team, the Baseball Team, and started all four years in football where he was named twice to the All County and All Conference teams. A member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council, Gino is a three-time attendee to the Academic Banquet. He plans to attend WVU in the fall of 2017 to study Biology.
Girl of the Month for November was Sara Comer, the daughter of Mike and Nicole Bennett and Doug and Jeovanna Comer of Clarksburg. A member of the 4-time state champion cheerleading squad, Sara has been a member of FBLA and attends Horizon’s Church. She plans to attend Fairmont State University to study Secondary Education.
Boy of the month for December is Jacob Barnard, the son of Jamie and Shana Barnard of Nutter Fort. Jacob has been an active member of the Varsity Football and Baseball teams. A member of the National Honor Society, Jacob is active throughout the community, collecting and distributing foods to those less fortunate. Jacob plans to attend college in the fall to study Business.
Girl of the Month for December is Jessalyn Cook, the daughter of Robert and Jennifer Cook of Clarksburg. Throughout high school Jessie has been an active member of SADD and served as treasurer of the Junior Humane Society. Additionally, she has been a member of the Student Council and the National Society of High School Scholars.
Co-Captain of the Marching Band Flag Line, Jessie plans to attend Fairmont State University to study Elementary Education.
