Scholarship Opportunities

AXA Community Acheivement Scholarship The AXA Achievement Community Scholarship Program brings educational opportunity into every community across the US in which AXA has a presence. It has a local focus, awarding up to 375 scholarships each year to students who have distinguished themselves within their communities. $2,500

The application deadline is February 1, 2015

Have graduated from and have attended a Harrison County high school for

four (4) years prior to entering a university, college or technical

institution. Students attending a foreign college or university are ineligible

for the Burnside Foundation Scholarship. $2,500

Application deadline is March 15, 2015

Carl R. Morris Memorial Scholarship

The Carl R. Morris Memorial Scholarship is offered to Calhoun County students who plan to pursue a college degree and attend Alderson-Broaddus College, Glenville State College or West Virginia University. $1,000

High Technology Scholars Program

The High Technology Scholars Program offers scholarships, internships, and loan opportunities to West Virginia high school seniors who plan on majoring in a technology related field. $500 + potential loan forgivness

Mary Olive Eddy Jones Art Scholarship

The Mary Olive Eddy Jones Art Scholarship is offered to West Virginia college students who are majoring in art. $1,000

Helen Holt Mollohan Scholarship

The Helen Holt Mollohan Scholarship is offered to a West Virginia female who is attending Glenville State College. $1,000

Teaming to Win Business Scholarship

The Teaming to Win Business Scholarship is given to a West Virginia college student pursuing a degree in business administration. $1,000

Application deadline is February 15, 2015
